What people have to say about workshops /events
"We have been fortunate enough to have Tracey facilitate two of our GW4 sandpit events. Right from booking, Tracey has been incredibly valuable, by bringing her extensive experience to this process, and helping us to plan the structure of the two events to ensure we meet the desired aims of the day. On the day itself, Tracey has been fabulous. She instantly makes delegates feel at ease and has a remarkable talent to gain contributions from all in attendance, be that academics or external industry partners, and keep the day running smoothly and on time. As an event organiser, it was so wonderful having Tracey there to facilitate the day as it meant I could fully engage with the discussions and not worry at all about timings or organisation once there. We have been very impressed with Tracey's facilitation and I would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for an event facilitator".

Tracey is the embodiment of excellence in her field. She has worked with me for six years on a number of projects from facilitated leadership workshops and coaching for researcher development. She has been instrumental in developing a highly successful programme which is now in its third year, delivering both personal impact on researchers and business impact on the research organisation. As a client, I appreciate her honesty and candid feedback on what is possible to achieve. By those she has worked with in my organisation, she is highly regarded for her insights and professionalism – being well “tuned in” to the people she has coached. She has a great balance of tools which she applies appropriately and techniques which she has used to develop confidence, resilience and help others to work towards their career goals. Personally, she has helped me deliver a programme which I am proud of, and I continue to see the results of that programme two years down the line in the colleagues we have supported. I cannot recommend her more highly.

“Tracey has run a couple of away days for us, with the purpose of bringing together a diverse group of people with very different jobs and roles, and finding a focus from which everyone could benefit. Tracey introduced us to a variety of coaching and group coaching techniques, managing to get even the most sceptical colleagues engaged and involved, which provided an opportunity for staff who don’t often work together to interact in a meaningful way. The most memorable activity that is still used and talked about was the introduction of the idea of developing criteria to use in ‘triaging’ what we take on, which we did through following a peer-to-peer coaching approach. This has had many benefits; it has given us a shared language, introduced staff to what coaching is and can do, and provided staff with some key coaching questions to take away and use on themselves, with their teams and with students. Another important outcome for our department from both away days has been the facilitation of a greater awareness and understanding of other people’s roles. I have particularly valued Tracey’s relaxed and positive approach which has made the away days so enjoyable; a number of staff commented that they had got more out of our first away day with Tracey than any other in the past, and I’m sure attendance the following year was in part through people looking forward to seeing what she would get us doing!”

“Tracey’s familiarity with the higher education skills arena combined with first-class communication and facilitation skills has resulted in us having a very high quality report which will form the basis of an institution-wide plan for the next three to five years. This was a significant Review that we would have been unable to complete within the timescale and so comprehensively if we had not had Tracey’s support, guidance and extremely valuable consultancy skills.”
Sarah Williment, Head of Academic Skills Resources, University of Bath
"Tracey's workshops helped me to think about a longer term plan for my research and put together a program of research for the next five years. The best thing about the course was having an enthusiastic trainer, it really makes a difference, if someone is excited about the possibilities for research it is infectious"
Dr Parveen Akhtar, Participant on 'Realising your research potential', University of Bradford
"Tracey has contributed to the work of the Vitae South West and Wales Hub in a number of different ways - as a facilitator on Vitae courses, as a trainer, as a workshop leader and as a committee member. She always delivers to the highest possible standard and her contribution has been highly valued by colleagues in universities across the region and beyond. Knowledgeable, thoughtful, empathetic, unassuming, she can always be relied upon to meet your needs as a client, with an ability to interpret your brief - however vague. She brings a wealth of skills to all her work. A colleague you can trust - and someone with whom you always enjoy working.”
